Britain's Got Talent 'blunder' as viewers wonder why Elizabeth didn't return

Britain's Got Talent fans are wondering if the show has blundered by forgetting to bring scary Elizabeth back.

Viewers were spellbound as the intense character who only gave her name as Elizabeth gave Amanda Holden a journal and took her under the stage into dark bowels of the theatre.

She then asked her to choose one of a batch of photos - and Amanda chose Agatha Turner, a performer who died in 1860 and is said to haunt the theatre.

Elizabeth then appeared to transform into Agatha as Amanda screamed in terror, and while leading the terrified judge back to the stage she switched back to Elizabeth again.

The impressed judges, including Amanda, all voted to send her through to the next round, but there was a twist as Elizabeth stood stock-still and told them ominously: "The night's not over yet."

"What?" gasped Alesha Dixon.

For the rest of the show viewers remained on the edge of their seats waiting for her return, but there was no sign of her.

Fans wondered if BGT forgot to add her return, or if she's going to pop up again without warning.

"Wait, they made it seem like that witch lady was going to do something else. Did they forget to add the end of that?" asked one viewer.

"Sooooooo when the hell is Elizabeth back????" asked another.

"Why did Elizabeth not come back?????" tweeted another viewer.

"It was the most scary act we've ever seen on BGT and I want to see more," Alesha praised about the creepy act.

And Simon Cowell said it was "amazing."
