Britain's biggest family the Radfords announce birth of baby daughter

Britain's biggest family have announced the birth of a new baby daughter - their 22nd child.

The Radford family shared the wonderful news on their Facebook page and said they were already "in love".

Their post said: "We welcomed our beautiful baby girl into the world on Friday night.

"We’re all so in love with her.

"Look out for the vlog tomorrow morning."

Along with the announcement they posted a photograph of the baby's adorable little hand.

The new addition to the family weighs 7lbs.

Mum Sue Radford, speaking to the Sun, said: "I was more scared than I had ever been going into hospital with everything going on with the virus.

"I was so worried that Noel wouldn’t be allowed to stay with me.

"We have all been isolating and it seemed wrong to leave our safe bubble to go to a hospital, but when I got there I felt safe straight away."

She said it was the strangest birth she's had yet one of the best experiences.

But Sue said they still can't agree on a name.

Friends and followers were quick to offer their congratulations on social media.

One said: "Awwwww such wonderful news at such a difficult time for the whole country.

"I look forward to learning your little ladies name, stay safe xx. (sic)"

The Radford family announce their 22nd child will be a girl

Last week, mum Sue Radford told followers she was self-isolating at home amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

She recently said her baby was due "any day now" and that the family are still to think of a name for baby number 22.

She admitted that her and husband Noel were "panicking".

Speaking on the family YouTube channel, Noel said: "We’re getting a bit desperate now, she could be here any day and there’s still no name for the poor little thing."

Sue, who fell pregnant with her first child at age 13, regularly updates followers with news on the family's YouTube channel.

The mum recently shared a picture of her kids learning from home following the government's decision to close all schools in the country during the coronavirus crisis.

The picture showed all 21 children, along with the caption: "Day one of homeschooling there probably won’t be a day two."
