One of Britain’s biggest families spend over £300 a week - four times that of the average family - on their weekly food shop.
Ben and Zoe Sullivan appeared on ITV's Britain's Biggest Families tonight, with their 11 children who are aged between 15 and two years old.
The couple, who live in Lossiemouth, Scotland, were one of three families to reveal what life is like having such a big family including the costs of day-to-day life.
Ben, 45, who earns around £600 a week in his job as an RAF aircraft engineer, said they spend over four times as much as the average family when it comes to food and energy bills.
The cost of the Sullivan's food shopping comes in at over £1000 a month, with Zoe joking that with "the amount of milk we get through we need our own cow."
Ben said: "It wasn't a conscious decision to have this many children, we just did.
"I always knew I was going to have a large family. I always knew I was going to have lots of children. I didn't know I was going to have 11."
Having a big family means they also have to make some scarifies when it comes to family holidays and days out as a couple, said Zoe.
Despite this, when it comes to Christmas the couple save throughout the year and spend around £3,000 in total.
Ben said: "£3000 for Christmas - it is quite a bit of money but it's something that we budget for throughout the year."
"The worst thing that can happen for us is that we have to get a loan out to cover Christmas or anything like that so we try to be as savvy as we can really."
