The 20 best fish and chip shops in the UK have been revealed.
The takeaways make up the finalists for the Fish and Chip Shop of the Year Award.
And the winner of the top prize will not be known until January 23 next year.
The awards celebrate "true excellence" in the fish and chip industry, judging hundreds of chippies on a nationwide scale.
The 20 businesses are shortlisted across 20 judging regions: Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, North East England, North West England, Midlands, Eastern England, London & South East England, Central & Southern England and South & West England.
Mike's Traditional Fish & Chips in Eastleigh, Hampshire, made it into the top 20 as Southern England's offering.
Walnut Tree Fish and Chips in Milton Keynes represented Central England, while French's Fish Ship was the nominee from Norfolk.
The Cod's Scallops in Nottinghamshire was put forward for the East Midlands.
Hertfordshire's Fiddlers Elbow made a second consecutive appearance in the top sixty, improving on last year's showing with a place in the final.
The only London chip oil is the Belmont Bay Fish Bar in Harrow, which offers traditional fish and chips on Deliveroo.
Seafare Guildford in Surrey prepares both the fish and chips from scratch on-site - and even offers gluten-free options.
Leeds is the only city with TWO in the list: Hook & Line and The Bearded Sailor.
Warwickshire's Chip Shed also made the list, and offers customers gluten-free fish every Tuesday.
In Northern Ireland the Dolphin Takeaway in Dungannon also made the list, as did The Frying Squad in County Down.
Fish and Chips @ Western Grove in Chester made the list on the strength of its participation in the Sustainable Palm Oil City project - meaning it works with suppliers to make sure all Palm Oil is sustainable sourced.
Cumbria's Shap Chippy offers locally-sourced ingredients, and staff arrive at 6am to start peeling the potatoes for chips.
Stonehaven's Carron Fish Bar (home of the deep-fried Mars Bar) is one of two entrants for Scotland along with Low's Traditional Fish & Chips in Grampian.
Fish 'n' Fritz in Dorset and Devon's Rockfish represented the South West, while Wales boasted two entries - Hiks in Swansea, and Hooked@31 in Pembrokeshire.
Marcus Coleman, Chief Executive Officer at Seafish, said: "Fish and chips is the healthiest of the traditional takeaways, and we're pleased to say that the quality on offer across the UK is just as healthy, if not more so, than it was when we launched these awards 32 years ago.
"It's not easy to break in to the Top 20, so every one of these businesses should be celebrating today.
"Our judges really do scrutinise every aspect of running a fish and chip business, so reaching this stage is a real achievement.
