Bristol weather: Soggy week forecast - when sun will return

It’s been a soggy old weekend in Bristol.

Shorts and t-shirts have been swapped for umbrellas and coats as temperatures plunged from the mid 30s last week to a chilly 15C.

And although the unsettled conditions are to remain for the next couple of days, with more rain forecast, there is the chance of some sunshine too.

Monday will be a windy day across the area but mainly dry with the risk of just the odd shower.

And although it will be largely cloudy, there will be some sunshine breaking through at times with a maximum temperature of 19C.

The forecast for Tuesday to Thursday remains mixed with showers and some longer spells of rain.

But it’s not all bad news as the showers will be interspersed with some drier weather and sunshine.

Winds will also ease with temperatures around normal for this time of year.

The early part of July looks like to remain somewhat unsettled with average temperatures and some rain early on.

However sunny skies look set to return as the month moves on with signs of more settled, drier and warmer weather making a return.
