Bristol weather: Rainy evening expected after warm and dry day

A fine morning and warm afternoon are set to give way to a rainy evening in Bristol today (August 8), according to the Met Office.

The forecast shows the morning is likely to be dry and mild, with sunny intervals.

The temperature can be expected to rise into the afternoon, eventually reaching 24 degrees by 4pm.

However, the clouds are then scheduled to make an appearance for the early evening, before heavy showers kick in around 9pm.

Throughout the day, however, it should be fairly still - gusts between 7-11 mph for the most part - and visibility should be good or very good.

As for the rest of the UK, most will experience dry weather with sunny spells.

Scattered showers might fall across northern and central parts though, particularly Scotland.
