Met Office Bristol weather forecast: When to expect heavy rain today

Rain is expected in Bristol on June 6, according to the Met Office forecast.

While the day will start sunny and dry, showers are likely to begin around lunchtime and carry on until the early evening, with heavy rain forecast at 2pm.

The sun is predicted to emerge again by 6pm and the weather should stay dry after that.

Temperatures will reach highs of 16 degrees celsius at around 4pm.

And fortunately they're not expected to dip below 10C.

The wet weather is set to continue, with downpours forecast for much of the day on Friday, June 7.

Thousands of people are due to watch Pakistan take on Sri Lanka at Bristol County Ground, but if current forecasts are correct the match could be a washout.

The Met Office forecast shows a 90 per cent chance of heavy rain from 7am to 1pm, with the chance rising to 95 per cent at times.
