Bristol weather: More sunshine and warm temperatures on the way

If you've been enjoying the warm weather we have enjoyed in Bristol this week - we've got some good news, there's more to come.

After a dry and chilly night, today (Thursday, May 23) looks set to be another very warm day in Bristol.

There may be some mist and fog patches early in the morning, particularly in rural spots outside the city, but these will soon clear, making way for another lovely day.

Temperatures will be slightly chilly initially on Thursday but by 10am we should be seeing temperatures of 15c, according to Met Office forecasters.

Sunny spells will continue all day with highs of 20c between 3pm and 5pm.

UV levels will be high and pollen levels are expected to be moderate.

Thursday night will be much milder than previous nights, with temperatures staying in double figures.

Looking ahead to the weekend, Friday and Saturday look set to be mostly warm and bright.

Forecasters say the sun is expected to be particularly strong on Saturday, so don't forget your sun cream and hat if you're heading out.

Sunday could see some cloudier and breezier spells so if you're planning a BBQ - perhaps Saturday might be the better day.
