It is going to get windy in Bristol today (April 7), according to the Met Office, which says the city is to see gusts of wind of up to 46mph at lunchtime.
Increasing wind speeds will hit Bristol this morning, starting at 35mph and peaking at lunchtime when they will be at 46mph. They will then start to decrease, staying below 30mph after 7pm.
The Met Office states that it will be sunny in Bristol today, but there could be some light rain between 2pm and 4pm, when it will turn dry again. Temperatures will stay between 11C and 5C.

Tomorrow (April 8) will be a cloudy day, with the weather getting a bit colder as temperatures are to stay between 11C and 3C. Looking at the weekend, Saturday will be sunny changing to cloudy in the afternoon, with a similar picture for Sunday.
The Met Office is forecasting it will warm up again next week, with temperatures staying between 9C and 15C on Monday to Wednesday next week. Here is the Met Office forecast for the South West for the next few days:
Meanwhile, snow fell for much of Tuesday in the north east of the UK from Arctic air, while the rest of the country was influenced by a high pressure system coming in from the Atlantic. Images of Coldstone, Aberdeenshire, showed a very wintry scene of fields with several inches of snow.
The bad news is that the Met Office is stating that the cold air “will win out eventually” during the end of the week. Maps from WXCharts show temperatures getting as low as -5C over the weekend with widespread frost across the UK.
