Bristol weather: Last day of sunshine before more heavy showers hit

Another bright, warm, sunny, cloudless, dry, beautiful summer day is in store for Bristol and much of the rest of southern Britain, according to forecasters.

The Met Office forecast for Wednesday, July 22, is for remarkably similar conditions to the last few days, with still, clear skies and wall-to-wall sunshine from dawn to dusk.

Temperatures will be up to 21 or 22 deg C again - but it will feel hot in the sunshine.

There will be a negligible wind - just a very light breeze from the west, and little chance of any rain.

But the forecasters are sounding a note of caution - it's likely Wednesday is going to be the last day for a while with this unbroken sunshine and warm temperatures.

"It will be generally unsettled over the next few days with spells of rain or heavy showers," said a Met Office spokesperson.

"There will be a brief respite on Friday with some brighter periods, but it will turn wet and blustery again on Saturday," he added.
