Bristol weather forecast: What Met Office says the weather will be like on Christmas Day

It's been a soaking wet start to Christmas Eve in Bristol, but thankfully things look set to brighten up for tomorrow.

The Met Office says it'll be a bright but chilly Christmas Day in the city, with temperatures between 3C and 7C throughout the day.

It'll be a sunny start, with clear skies from 9am for anyone hoping to go out for a morning walk after opening their presents.

Be careful if you are out and about early on as the council are sending out their gritters with a warning of possible frost in places.

Bristol City Council tweeted: "Low temperatures expected today and possible frost in places so we are gritting some city routes."

A North Somerset council travel account also confirmed their gritters would be out tonight.

The afternoon will then turn cloudy, before temperatures drop at night.
