Bristol weather forecast: Another warm and sunny day for most

Tuesday will be another lovely sunny summer's day for Bristol and most of the rest of the United Kingdom, as a high pressure continues to dominate the weather over Britain.

The forecast from the Met Office for Tuesday, July 21, is for a warm, sunny day for most of the country, with temperatures up to 21 or 22degC - in the low 70s Fahrenheit.

Winds will be light, clouds will be few and far between in the morning, although they might cast a bit of shade in the afternoon, and it will be clear, bright, sunny and without much of a breeze at all - apart from on the coasts.

The only exception will be in the north of Scotland and Northern Ireland, where a band of rain will move slowly eastwards across the country, bringing persistent rain for all.

But in Bristol and the West of England region, it will be pretty much nothing but wall-to-wall sunshine, warm temperatures and remaining bone dry.

The outlook for the rest of the week is good too - Wednesday will be much the same, and the forecasters are predicting a slightly cloudier Thursday with the potential for some showers, but returning to nice sunny days on Friday and into the weekend.

A spokesperson for the Met Office said: "Tuesday will be another dry day with a good deal of sunshine to start.

"Patchy cloud will bubble up through the afternoon, mainly in the east, but still with plenty of sunny spells," he added.
