Bristol Walk Fest 2019: The best walks in and around Bristol to do with the kids

From iconic buildings to hunting out tucked away gems, Bristol Walk Fest always offers revellers a chance to see and celebrate our city's best offerings.

And this year is no different as organisers reveal the wide and varied timetable which as ever has catered for everyone  including the younger generation,

To help you make the most of the month-long festival we're complied a helpful list of all the events kids will love.

Storywalk at St George Park

 

Kids get the chance to stroll round this Victorian park which boasts a huge duck pond, lines of historic tress and a skate park.

There will also be stories along the way to keep the little ones entertained.

When? Thursday May 9 between 10:15am to 11am.

Foraging walk

Aimed at older kids or adults, this session will teach you about what  wild edibles treats are growing under our noses.

You’ll also be given some inspired ideas for how to turn your foraged findings into meals.

When? Sunday May 12 between 10:30am to 1pm.

There's incredible street art everywhere you look in Bristol (Dan Regan)

Join Bristol graffiti artist, Rob Wheeler, on a walking tour of some of the key sites in our city's world-famous street art scene, past and present.

The walk is at a gentle pace and suitable for participants of all levels of fitness.

When? Tuesday May 14 from 10:30am to 12:30pm.

Starting on May 20, this event encouraged pupils across the area to get to school by foot.
