Bristol's Maya Jama joins Celebrity Juice cast permanently

Maya Jama is to join Keith Lemon's Celebrity Juice permanently, ITV has announced.

Jama, who grew up in Bristol, has appeared on Juice multiple times before, but she'll be a series regular from now on, ITV said.

According to the Mirror, Maya said: "I never have any idea quite what's going to unfold on Celeb Juice, but I do know it's always going to be hilarious and super fun.

"It’s a show I dreamed about going on when I was growing up and so I’m beyond thrilled to become a regular on the show and be given the opportunity to share the panel with some of my favourite people. Bang tidy!"

Celebrity Juice returns for a 25th series this April, where Jama will join Lemon (real name Leigh Francis) and team captains Emily Atack and Laura Whitmore.

Jama, 26, was born in Bristol and attended Cotham School. She has previously presented The Circle and Peter Crouch: Save Our Summer, had a regular slot on Radio 1, and is a team captain on Don't Hate the Playaz. She was also recently announced as the new host of Glow Up: Britain's Next Make-Up Star.
