Bristol's Lush is relocating after Boux Avenue closes down permanently

Dozens of businesses across the city centre have been forced to close this year amid the cost of living crisis.

The latest victim is lingerie brand Boux Avenue, which had been located in Cabot Circus. Now the closest store to Bristol, according to the Boux Avenue website, is Cardiff with Oxford, Reading and Southampton also within driving distance.

Now, Lush has confirmed it will be moving into the space and the company will be closing its current Broadmead store. And due to their bigger premises, the chain will now be able to host parties in their city centre store.

Kasey Swithenbank, Lush's Head of Retail UK&I, said: "We're so excited to be investing in Bristol and to be in a position to give our customers and staff members a truly unique space to shop and work in.

"Our new location will feature a party and community space where our customers can create lasting memories in store and we can't wait to welcome them into our new space at the beginning of April."

Lush Cosmetics is a popular brand that prides itself on creating products that have not been tested on animals. Founded back in 1995, lush has been around for nearly 30 years and has helped lead the way with the campaign against animal testing.

Their website explains how 67% of their supply chain is from direct relationships with manufacturers and growers, in the UK.

H&M also issued a statement this week after its Cabot Circus store closed suddenly. Bosses confirmed the shop had shut for a refurbishment and would reopen this summer.
