The cost of living crisis continues to bite, with prices rising across the board and inflation reaching levels not seen for decades. And things are only to get worse very soon, with a tax hike, energy price cap rises, and below-inflation rises for benefits approaching.
Fuel prices, on the other hand, appear to be stabilising, at least, if not yet coming down from their record highs. The fuel duty cut, announced by the chancellor, Rishi Sunak, last week, should have cut prices by around 6p, but it hasn't had such a big effect just yet.
The cheapest petrol and diesel in Bristol is unchanged from a few days ago. The cheapest petrol can be found at Morrison's in Hartcliffe, at 157.7p per litre; the cheapest diesel is at Morrisons in Fishponds, at 168.9p.
