Bristol's area-by-area covid case breakdown as UK records another record daily rise

Hundreds more people in Bristol will have to spend their Christmas self-isolating after testing positive for coronavirus.

More than 400 new cases have been recorded in the city today (Friday, December 17), according to the daily figures released by the Government.

Anyone who tested positive today will just miss the Christmas cut-off for self-isolation, with the 10-day period taking them to Boxing Day.
