Bristol Rovers player ratings as Ali Koiki and Zain Westbrooke impress against Leyton Orient

Anssi Jaakkola - 6

Unfortunate with the opening goal before going off for unknown reasons at half time.

Josh Hare - 6

Defended firmly as the Os searched for a leveller and got forward when he could.

Alfie Kilgour - 7

Strong performance from the centre-back, cutting down on his errors and winning his duels.

Jack Baldwin - 7

Little he could do to prevent the own goal, with his attempt to block Ling's cross cruelly spinning into the net. Solid performance, otherwise.

Luke Leahy - 5

Was beaten too easily by Ling at times, including for Orient's goal. Not his best performance.

Ali Koiki of Bristol Rovers in possession. (Patrick Khachfe/JMP)

Ed Upson - 7

A valuable experienced head in front of the back four. Assured performance.

Zain Westbrooke - 7

Had a big hand in the opening goal and was cruelly denied one of his own from a free-kick by the crossbar, only for the ball to hit the goalkeeper's back and bounce over the line.

Cameron Hargreaves - 6

A superb asset off the ball as usual and was central to Rovers' ability to pen Orient in their own third in the first half. He has never let a manager down, but could Tisdale be the first to give him a sustained run in the team?

Zain Walker - 6

He was lively throughout, and his pressing forced Joe Widdowson into the errant pass which led to the first goal. Showed his inexperience at times with some poor decision-making in the final third, but the teenager is an exciting talent.

Ali Koiki - 7

Was in the right place at the right time to bundle home his first Rovers goal. Played well in a somewhat unfamiliar position and has an exciting future at the Gas.

Brandon Hanlan - 6

Could have done better with the shot which led to Koiki's goal, but he offered a good physical presence up top all night.

Subs

Jordi van Stappershoef (for Jaakkola on 46) - 7

Made good saves to deny Sotiriou and Maguire-Drew an equaliser.

Ben Liddle (for Walker on 75) - 5

One sloppy moment on the ball in stoppage time almost proved costly.

Jonah Ayunga (for Hanlan on 75) - 6

His first appearance in more than two months due to injury. Held the ball up well.

Not used: Mark Little, Michael Kelly, Cian Harries, Josh Barrett.
