Bristol Rovers have dropped a major hint about where the future of star striker Jonson Clarke-Harris lies.
There has been speculation surrounding the Gas front man following his stunning performances in the second half of lasts season after he moved to the Memorial Stadium from Coventry City.
The marksman netted 11 times as he helped to lift Rovers out of the relegation zone and ultimately up to 15th in League One .
One report suggested a host of League One AND Championship clubs were keen to bring him in .
However, he hasn't featured at all in pre-season as he has been struggling with an unspecified injury that required keyhole surgery.
Despite his absence, any fears that Rovers might cash in on the man who has quickly become their most important player may have finally been allayed.
The imposing forward featured in the club's launch of their new home kit on Saturday, modelling the strip alongside skipper Ollie Clarke and new signing Mark Little.
If that wasn't enough to suggest he plans to stay at the Mem, it seems he has adopted the vacant no.9 shirt following the protracted departure of Stefan Payne.
Rovers tweeted a video of Clarke-Harris, Clarke and Little signing their shirts, with JCH briefly holding his new number aloft.
He wore 19 on his back last season having registered with Rovers as Payne departed for Shrewsbury on January's transfer deadline day.
