Bristol Register Office windows smashed as police appeal to identify man

Bristol Register Office has been targeted in a series of criminal damage incidents over the past couple of months. Avon and Somerset Police is investigating seven separate incidents which have seen windows at the building in Corn Street smashed or damaged.

Police say the most recent incident at the office in Corn Street took place sometime overnight between Tuesday (May 30) and Wednesday (May 31), with the force adding patrols have been conducted in the area following the reported offences. A picture of a man officers want to speak to about the incidents has also been released.

The man in the image released by police is described as white, aged in his 30s or 40s, around 5ft 10ins, with a beard. In the footage he’s also seen riding a bicycle.
