Bristol mum finds eight minute cure to stop incontinence after pregnancy

A Bristol mum has discovered an eight minute cure to stop the mortifying symptoms of incontinence.

Abi, 26, first noticed the embarrassing problem after the birth of her first daughter.

However, it only became a problem when she decided to get back to full fitness last year, reports Mirror Online .

Six months after the birth of her second daughter, she signed up for personal trainer sessions in May 2018 but was mortified when she wet herself during one of the sessions.

Not wanting to make a fuss she carried on training but the problem persisted and started happened when she coughed, sneezed or did exercise.

The mum-of-two said: "I hadn’t done my pelvic floor exercises during pregnancy so I thought that was why it was happening and blamed myself.

"I used pads in my knickers to absorb it and assumed that I would just have to put up with it, but I was only 26 years old and hated the thought of being like that forever."

But then Abi heard about the BTL UltraFemme 360 procedure, which can help reduce stress incontinence without surgery.

She said: "I had a holiday booked and really wanted to get back into my exercise training."

She contacted Dr Shirin Lakhani at Elite Aesthetics in Kent and after an initial consultation she advised that she would be a suitable candidate.

The revolutionary vaginal tightening treatment available at Elite Aesthetics in Greenhithe, Kent, is a non-surgical alternative to traditional surgical vaginoplasty and labiaplasty.

Ultra Femme works by using radiofrequency waves to help stimulate the body’s natural collagen production and enhances blood flow to the area, helping to treat among other things incontinence.

In May this year Abi went for the treatment.

She said: "It wasn’t painful at all and involved a probe being inserted into my vagina.

"It felt warm inside me but wasn’t uncomfortable at all and after 8 minutes it was done!"

Afterwards, Abi felt instant results she said.

She said: "I felt tighter down there straight away.

"And when I got home my little one had a cold and I was coughing and sneezing but I didn’t leak at all. It was incredible."

Since then Abi said she has had two more treatments to complete the course, and now her embarrassing symptoms have completely gone.

Not only has this allowed her to get her body back to how she wanted, it’s given her the confidence to exercise again without the worry of the consequences, she claims
