Bristol man charged after St Pauls stabbing left man in hospital

A Bristol man has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm after a stabbing in St Pauls this week.

Nathan Dixon, 30, has been charged following a disorder in Grosvenor Road at shortly after 9pm on Wednesday (September 16).

An Avon and Somerset police spokesman said the victim "received a number of stab wounds" from a man who approached him, who had left the scene by the time officers arrived.

Police also indicated it was an isolated incident between two people that were known to each other.

Dixon has now been charged with causing grievous bodily harm and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, and will appear at Bristol Magistrates' Court today (September 19).

The victim, who was taken to hospital with stab wounds following the disorder, is said to be making a good recovery from his injuries.
