Bristol man accused of burgling five homes

A man has appeared in court accused of burgling five homes in north Bristol.

John O'Brien has been charged with five counts of dwelling burglary.

Avon and Somerset Constabulary believe he targeted four properties in Cotham - three on Brookfield Road and one on Arley Hill - as well as one home on Downend Road in Horfield.

O'Brien, of Kendon Drive in Horfield, appeared at Bristol Magistrates Court on October 17.

The 44-year-old was granted conditional bail by the court and is due to appear at Bristol Crown Court on November 18.
