Bristol LK Bennett store at Cribbs Causeway saved after buyout by Chinese partner

Bristol's last remaining LK Bennett store has been saved after a Chinese supplier to the brand bought the luxury womenswear chain out of administration.

While the Cabot Circus branch was closed in March following the company's collapse, the Cribbs Causeway shop has survived.

The brand has been bought by Byland UK, a newly incorporated company that was formed in a bid to take over the high street fashion chain.

It was set up by Rebecca Feng, who runs the company's Chinese franchises.

As well as its own chain of shops, L.K. Bennett has clothes available through concessions in department stores including Selfridges, House of Fraser and John Lewis.

High profile fans, including Kate Middleton, look like they haven't been enough to save it from the UK's high street malaise.
