HGV driver jobs in Bristol are being advertised with wages up to £35 per hour, with a massive Christmas bonus.
The UK currently has a shortage of around 90,000 HGV drivers, which in recent weeks has triggered major supply chain issues.
The shortage meant some petrol stations ran dry as they could not get deliveries, triggering panic buying.

Chaotic scenes have been spotted at petrol station forecourts, with fights breaking out, people jumping queues, and petrol station staff receiving abuse.
The government has taken drastic measures, including suspending the Competition Act 1998, issuing 5,000 visas to European HGV drivers, and deploying troops to drive fuel tankers.
Not only that, but Christmas is at risk due to the HGV driver shortage, with Tesco and the Co-op warning that some items may be in short supply this winter.
Due to global shipping issues, and increasing costs to deliver goods in the UK, analysts are warning of a “nightmare” Christmas, with fears that the traditional turkey Christmas dinner will be replaced by non-meat alternatives.
As supermarkets and supply chains scramble to ensure as little disruption, HGV driver salaries have shot up.
In Bristol, a job is being advertised with a starting rate of £16.99 per hour, with nights paid at £21.48 per hour.
That rate rises to a high of £33.56 per hour for nights in the week if working overtime.
On weekends, the regular daily rate is £22.92 per hour, but drivers are so high in demand that overtime rates reach a high of £35 per hour for overtime on Saturdays and Sundays.
The major draw for these jobs, however, is the massive £800 Christmas bonus being offered, showing just how high in demand qualified HGV drivers are.
To snap up this job, you would need either an LGV1, HGV1, C+E, LGV 1, HGV 1, or Class 1 license.
With driver hours relaxed by the government as well, the earning potential over the Christmas period is higher than ever.
