A fire has broken out at a Bristol hospital, with fire crews from across the city responding.
The fire has been reported at St Michael's Hospital in Southwell Street today (January 21), near the University of Bristol.
Avon Fire and Rescue confirmed multiple crews were responding to the fire, with teams from fire stations at Bedminster, Temple, Southmead and Kingswood all mobilised.

A further tweet confirmed the area had been evacuated and police and ambulance teams are also at the scene.
There has not yet been any word on the severity or cause of the fire.
