Bristol F1 star Lando Norris comes 10th in French Grand Prix after poor final lap

Lando Norris was unable to record his maiden F1 win as he came 10th in the French Grand Prix.

Hopes were high for Norris after he started in fifth position, with the Bristolian talking up his prospects in the race.

Yet he quickly dropped down to seventh and, for a long time, it looked like that was where the 19-year-old would finish.

However, a poor final lap with a car that had suspected hydraulics issues saw him drop three places to 10th, meaning he takes one point from the race.

He currently sits in 12th place in the driver Championship, with 13 points so far this season.

It has been a solid showing for Norris in his debut season and he has grabbed attention for his impressive performances in qualifying sessions.

Yet he is yet to truly take that qualifying pace into race days yet.
