The Easter holidays will start off dry and sunny before the weather becomes more "mixed", the Met Office has said.
According to the weather agency, the next few days in Bristol will be fine and dry with sunny spells.
However, in the week before Easter weekend, people living in Bristol can expect scattered showers and strong winds instead.
In a forecast for April 16 to April 25 on its website, the Met Office said: "Central and eastern areas will be largely dry to start the period, with some bright or sunny spells likely.
"In the west and south west however, it will be cloudier initially, with some rain or scattered showers at times, and they could be accompanied by strong winds.

"Temperatures should rise to average occasionally, and they could turn locally rather warm in the south and east."
The weather agency adds the weather will become more "mixed" during Easter.
"Confidence then reduces markedly during Easter and the start of the following week," the Met Office says.
"However, the weather looks most likely to be mixed, with rain and some sun at times.
"Temperatures will trend from slightly above average to nearer normal overall, but it will still be rather warm at times in the southeast."

Thursday, April 11
After a fine end to April 11, it will be a dry night with clear spells. It will turn cold overnight, with a patchy frost developing where skies are clearest. Minimum temperature -2 °C.
Friday, April 12
A cold start on Friday but dry with sunny spells. It will feel fresh, even in the sunshine and cool in the shade. Turning breezier in the far southwest later. Maximum temperature 12 °C.
Saturday, April 13 to Monday, April 15
Rather cold but dry with sunny spells and frost at night. Fairly breezy at times, especially over the hills. Cloudy with some rain possible in the far west on Monday.
