Another person has died with coronavirus at Bristol Royal Infirmary (BRI).

The BRI's coronavirus death toll rose to 104, while Southmead Hospital's stayed at 111.

It comes after we yesterday revealed 12 people had died with the virus at the BRI in one week.

Public Health England's update from today shows Bristol's confirmed cases remain at 687 and South Gloucestershire's figure has stayed at 398.

North Somerset's figure has increased from 351 to 360, while Bath and North East Somerset has risen from 228 to 230.

The NHS has confirmed 227 UK hospital deaths with coronavirus in 24 hours, including 174 in England and nine in the South West.

Patients who died in England were aged between seven and 102 years old.

Six of the 174 patients (aged between 45 and 90) had no known underlying health condition. Their families have been informed.
