Leeds United will be hoping to go one better than last season this year when they kick off the 2019-20 Championship season with a trip Bristol City at Ashton Gate Stadium this weekend.
Marcelo Bielsa's side came so close to achieving their dream of promotion to the Premier League last season, only to see their hopes dashed in the play-offs - and now, they will look to go again and reach the top-flight with the Argentine back in the driving seat.
They'll look to make a winning start down in Bristol with a clash against the Robins, as Lee Johnson's side seek to claim some vengeance following a double league defeat to the Whites in 2018-19.
United will have to do it without talismanic forward Kemar Roofe however, with the striker one of a handful of faces set to miss the first clash of the new campaign.

When is the match?
Leeds United face Bristol City at Ashton Gate Stadium on August 4. It is a 4:30pm kick-off, making it the penultimate match of the opening weekend.

This game will not be streamed on LUTV, as it will be broadcast on Sky Sports, who are featuring both of United's first two Championship games amid their schedule.
