AFC Wimbledon star midfield Jack Rudoni is on the verge of handing in a transfer request, according to the latest reports, following growing interest from a number of Championship clubs.
Rudoni, is understood to be a player of interest to Bristol City, but contrary to national reports earlier this week the Robins have not made a formal offer for the attacking midfielder as the club are not in a position to consider purchasing until they make sales elsewhere.
He does fit the brief, like many over the last 12 months, of being an impressive EFL talent with considerable potential who not only offers benefits in the short term, but from a financial perspective could earn a club a significant profit further down the line, should he be developed in the right way.

But City will face serious competition for his signature should Nigel Pearson try to bring the talented youngster to BS3 with Sunderland, Huddersfield and Luton Town all reported to be interested in adding him to their squads.
The Daily Mail report today that AFC Wimbledon, who were relegated down to League Two last season, are 'braced' for a transfer request from the club's Player of the Season in 2021/22.
The Dons are reported to have already rejected offers from Sunderland and Huddersfield this summer which, with add-ons, could rise to over £1million; and the Black Cats are long-term admirers having been unsuccessful in an approach for the 21-year-old in January.
Rudoni has emerged through the Wimbledon academy and has accumulated considerable first-team experience in League One, making 106 appearances for the Dons over three seasons since his debut in 2019, mostly in a struggling team, and has increasingly been the focal point of their attack, scoring 12 goals with four assists last season.
Rudoni is reported to have just one year left on his contract at Wimbledon and is understood be becoming increasingly frustrated having been promised a move in the summer after January offers were rebuffed, and trained separately this week.
