Bristol City's Callum O'Dowda left in limbo as Fulham target Tottenham Hotspur wingers after Leeds United and Nottingham Forest interest fades

Another option may be off the table for Bristol City's Callum O'Dowda with one of his suitors exploring other possibilities.

Having already signed two quality wingers this summer, Fulham are looking at two more - not including the Irishman.

Last week it was reported that the 24-year-old was in talks with the newly-relegated Cottagers, however they have since added Brighton's Anthony Knockaert to their ranks on loan, who follows Wolves' Ivan Cavaleiro through the door in west London.

Now they are interested in Tottenham Hotspur's Joshua Onomah and Georges-Kevin Nkoudou, according to The Telegraph.

The attacking pair could form part of any deal that sees Ryan Sessegnon head the other way, with Spurs maintaining a longstanding interest in the 19-year-old prospect.

Sky Sports reported last week that Fulham were unwilling to meet the Robins' £8m valuation of O'Dowda and it seems they may now look elsewhere and use Sessegnon's imminent departure to their advantage.

With the addition of two decent Premier League wingers and the potential arrival of two more, a move to Fulham suddenly appears highly improbable for the Bristol City wide man.

Craven Cottage could become the latest potential destination to evaporate for O'Dowda, after Leeds moved instead for another Wolves man in Helder Costa and Nottingham Forest sacked Martin O'Neill, from whom their interest in him seemed to stem.

Although he could stay at Ashton Gate, contract talks are at an impasse and he has just one year left on his current deal. This could be City's last chance to cash in.
