Bristol City injury news in full ahead of Leeds United trip

Leeds United will play their third game against promotion rivals in the space of eight days when they host Bristol City on Saturday afternoon.

The Robins head to Elland Road as the Whites' latest opposition seeking to cripple Marcelo Bielsa and his men's Premier League bid.

Though United remain second in the Championship, their grip seems tenuous at best, having allowed multiple sides below them to close the gap to the play-offs.

Lee Johnson is set to resume his rivalry with in West Yorkshire, with the City boss having often been fired up by the chance to square off with Leeds.

There are no fresh injury concerns for Bielsa at least, though the confirmation that Adam Forshaw will not play again this season is still a blow.

Their visitors however are only nursing a couple of knocks and could be near theoretical full-strength for the encounter.

Here's who will be missing for Bristol...

Tomas Kalas

The Czech international was a cornerstone of the Robins last season on loan from Chelsea and turned his move into a permanent one this season.

He's been out since early January with a hamstring injury however and missed a prospective return date against Derby County in midweek.

Kalas looks set to be absent too for his side's latest promotion battle encounter.

Benik Afobe

The DR Congo star, on loan from Championship rivals Stoke City, has returned to training following a lengthy lay-off after he suffered an ACL injury last September.

Bristol hope he will be able to feature again this season, but the striker isn't going to be popping up at Elland Road to cause any trouble for the hosts' defence.

Marley Watkins

The journeyman Welsh international is in his second term in Ashton Gate, having reunited with Johnson following their previous stint together at Barnsley.

He's been out of action for a few weeks with a calf problem and, having missed his side's midweek clash against the Rams, remains out of the equation.
