With the football season having entered shutdown mode in England, supporters all over the country are desperately searching for ways to get hold of their regular, weekend football fix in an attempt to pass the time at these uncertain and worrying times.

The UK's population is being urged to stay at home and refrain from going out in order to slow down the spread of COVID-19, which is currently causing mass panic and chaos across the globe.

And it appears as though Bristol City's fans found a way of passing the time on Sunday afternoon, as plenty of them took to Twitter to join in with the club's decision to relive the 2015 Johnstone's Paint Trophy Final at Wembley, which saw City defeat Walsall 2-0 thanks to goals from Aden Flint and Mark Little either side of half time.

The club announced that they would relive that famous Wembley appearance on Saturday afternoon, confirming that they would offer a re-run of the occasion on their Twitter feed, offering live-text updates, photographs and much more.

The club have tweeted photographs of supporters making their way to Wembley, highlights of the club's run to the final and the all important team news amongst other pieces.

Fans have reacted to this decision to relive the final in a positive and jubilant manner, as everyone looks for something to put a smile on their face at this incredibly worrying time.
