Bristol City fans send emphatic message over £7m striker linked with Leeds United and Nottingham Forest

Bristol City fans have responded with an emphatic no to the prospect of re-signing Cauley Woodrow.

The Robins have been credited with an interest in the Barnsley striker, who played on loan at the club two seasons ago.

Yet Barnsley are said to be asking for £7m for the 25-year-old, with Nottingham Forest and Leeds United also keeping tabs.

After a disappointing initial stint at the Robins, many fans want the club to look elsewhere.

Paul Owen: Couldn’t get into the team last time we had him?!?! No to a free let alone £7m. SOS Matty Taylor.

David Veale: This has to be a joke. It’s like they want the fans to feel annoyed.

Nigel Owen: £7m!!!!! Best we go abroad again.

John Boyce: We aren't that desperate are we?

Bristol City FC Supporters: That's hilarious.

Harry: You dare.

Daniel Prior: If he wasn't good enough to sign a couple of years ago, what's changed?
