Bristol City CEO explains how Bristol City beat competition to sign Adam Nagy

Mark Ashton says Bristol City beat competition from other clubs for Adam Nagy.

The Hungarian international has signed on a three-year deal with the option of a further 12 months after City agreed a deal with Bologna.

He becomes the Robins' 11th signing of the summer, and CEO Ashton says City were able to secure his signature ahead of other clubs.

Ashton told BCFC.co.uk: "Adam is another fantastic talent and we are delighted he has signed for Bristol City amid offers from other clubs.

"He brings experience as an established international and he has a lot to offer us."

Robins boss Lee Johnson backed Nagy to slot into the midfield and fit their style of play.

He said: "We are really exciting about signing Adam.

"I’m delighted he has chosen us over a number of other possibilities and his energy and style of play will fit our team seamlessly."
