Tomas Kalas' involvement in Euro 2020 is seemingly in doubt after he missed the Czech Republic's warm-up friendly in Italy due to injury.
The Bristol City captain was a mystery absentee from Jaroslav Silhavy's side for the trip to Bologna on Friday, which saw the Czech's thumped 4-0, and the manager later revealed the 28-year-old was injured and needs further assessment.
The Czech Republic are in Group D, alongside England and Scotland, with their tournament opener at Hampden Park against Steve Clarke's side just eight days away.
After the game, Silhavy bemoaned his side's poor performance, and the injuries that hit his squad ahead of kick-off.
"It was a big setback for us, there's no getting away from it," he said.
"It annoys me to lose by such a margin. It was a very bad performance from us and when that happens, a very bad result follows from it.
"The only good thing I can take from it was that it wasn't at the Euros.
"We were slow at everything. We lost two stupid goals. None of the defenders performed well, but it wasn't only that area, we were too slow to press and we offered nothing in attack either. The Italians were excellent, but we were nowhere near good enough.
"Additionally, we also picked up two injuries which is far from perfect. Tomas Kalas will get assessed in Prague and Ondrej Celustka also got injured. The doctors will let me know if they are available for the match against Scotland.
"The match reminded me of the debacle against England. It certainly gave me unhappy memories.
"It's behind us now, we need to learn from this, concentrate on the match against Albania and then put all our thoughts towards Scotland and ensure we don't perform like that again."
City midfielder Adam Nagy enjoyed a better evening on Friday, overcoming a knock to make a substitute appearance in Hungary's friendly win over Cyrpus in Budapest.
