Bristol City boss Dean Holden confirms duo set to miss Nottingham Forest clash

Bristol City will be without defender Nathan Baker and midfielder Liam Walsh for their trip to face Nottingham Forest this weekend.

The Robins are looking to maintain  their perfect start after winning their opening three games in the Championship which has put them second in the table.

They now face a  Forest side who have endured a miserable opening to the start to the campaign with the Reds still without a win and a goal which has put boss Sabri Lamouchi under huge pressure.

Reported by Bristol Live, Robins boss Dean Holden confirmed that Baker and Walsh would be missing but he has no other concerns.

“There’s probably only Nathan Baker who’s long-term really,”  said Holden ahead of this weekend’s clash.

“Maybe Liam Walsh is a couple of weeks away from being back outside but the rest of the boys, although they’re not quite with the group just yet, are certainly progressing in the right way.

“We might see one more hopefully for this weekend for the trip to Forest and then we’ll see after the international break.

“We’ll use that two week period that we’ve got to maximum effect and hopefully going up to Barnsley after the break, we might have one or two more back as well.”
