Bristol City announce advance season card prices for 2020/21 with minor adult increase

Bristol City have announced their season card prices for the next league season - with a three per cent increase on all adult tickets.

Initial reaction from Robins supporters has been to gratingly see the increase as in line with inflation or to denounce an unnecessary rise after the club announced record profits - a first under Steve Lansdown's stewardship - back at the end of October.

The club has however frozen prices on all U19s tickets with supporters able to renew their season tickets online from Monday 24 February, with seats reserved until Monday 16 March. That gives three weeks to decide whether to stick or twist.

Adult prices begin at £15 per game if sat in the Family area at the top of the Lansdown Stand, from £16 for the coveted South Stand, but rise to £28 per game to sit in the central lower Lansdown Stand, though prices per match are worked out on a Championship 23-home-games season.

Prices are frozen for under-12s too, except in the South Stand and Family Area, though those supporters do receive a free home shirt still.

Inducements to renew early include a prize draw system, with signed shirts, a free season card and to have a player deliver your card.

Meanwhile season card holders will continue to benefit from a number of extra inducements next season, such as 10 per cent discount in items bought in the concourses, discounted CATS travel, members ticket prices for the Bears and Flyers teams, and more.

Bristol City CEO Mark Ashton told the club website:

“These are exciting times for our football club, so I hope you will take this opportunity to join us for next season as we embark on the next steps of our journey.

“Below you will see the advanced prices for 2020/21 with your seat being reserved until Monday, March 16th. We are also pleased to offer a series of prize draws for renewing supporters along with various exclusive benefits, including continuing to offer a free home shirt for all Under-12 Season Card holders.

“Thank you again for your wonderful support this season and we look forward to you joining us in 2020/21.”
