Anyone that lives in Bristol knows about Oowee and their infamous dirty burgers. Since their launch in 2016, they have taken the city by storm, picking up numerous awards along the way.
And, whether you choose their meat or vegan options, you're guaranteed to be impressed by their food.
For this Veganuary, the plant-based offshoot of the business is encouraging everyone to 'cheat on meat' and they're here to help you make the switch to meat-free food by giving away 100 of their vegan burgers completely free.

Eager diners will be able to get their hands on Oowee's Veganuary exclusive 'Flamin’ Hot smash burger' - which consists a double Beyond Meat smash patty, two slices of American cheese, buttermilk fried jalapeños and housemade hot mayo - at the giveaway, which takes place at Oowee Vegan on Baldwin Street this Friday at 1pm.
Oowee said they have "really focused on creating a product that customers will enjoy just as much, if not more than the very best animal meat alternatives".
"We achieve this by obsessing over every element of the burger, from the daily baked milk rolls made by our in-house baker, to the hand made, unique sauces that our chefs create, and then we work with the industry leaders where exceptional products exist, such as Beyond Meat, which create something special... it's all in the detail," said a spokesperson.
The chain's aim is to show meat-eaters that eating a plant-based burger can be just as exciting and delicious as the traditional meat burger, with the hope the burger may even convince some diners to consider going for the plant-based option more regularly.
Oowee Vegan co-founder Charlie Watson said: "We're really proud of this one, and can't wait to see the reaction of meat-eaters when they try the burger, as people are always so surprised at how realistic it tastes. It's great to see people so excited about this innovative product."
Those who wish to get their hands on the Flamin' Hot smash burger can head down to the Baldwin Street Oowee branch on Friday, January 14 at 1pm, where they will be given away on a first come, first served basis.
Anyone who saw the footage of Oowee's College Green giveaway in 2019 will know these burgers are very sought after, so it would be wise to get down to Baldwin Street in good time this Friday!
