A café in Bristol is the latest eatery in the city to fall into administration in what has been a difficult year for the high street.
Dom’s Coffee House, which is based on St Augustine's Parade, has appointed rescue and recovery business Leonard Curtis to oversee the winding up of the business.
Administrators Andrew Beckingham and Siann Huntley were appointed on October 1, according to public records site The Gazette.
The director of Dom's Coffee House is named on Companies House as Louis Sherman.
“It was an honour to have created a place that gave pleasure to people, especially those who returned time after time," a message on the café's website states.
“Who knows what amazing relationships and consequences may have been created through Dom’s. Sadly, Dom’s has to close, but we wish to say a huge thank you to our wonderful staff, we met along the journey.”
The Website points out that Bristol Escape Rooms and Cruse Bereavement Care, which are in the same building, are open as usual by appointment.
There is also a sign on the coffee shop's door apologising for the closure.
The eco-friendly shop served coffee roasted by Stokes Croft-based Triple Co Roast, pastries and bread from Hobbs Bakery in Chipping Sodbury and cakes that were made locally in St Philips.
