Bristol bar holding Disney-themed drag queen bottomless brunch

Drag queens dressed as Disney characters will be serenading patrons quaffing prosecco at a unique event in Bristol.

Bottomless brunch has become a staple of the city's social calendar, with more and more establishments running the constant top-up events.

And while free-flowing booze is usually enough to create a room full of merriment, one Bristol bar is bringing the happiest place on earth to the city for one day only.

Prince Street Social, on Prince Street near the harbourside, is hosting a Disney-themed bottomless brunch this month, with Mickey and Minnie-themed decorations, all your favourite songs and performances by the city's hottest drag acts dressed up as Disney favourites.

The event, which is taking place on September 28, will also include singalongs to Disney classics, Disney films on a loop and, of course, unlimited prosecco, Amstel or Thatcher's cider.

General manager Dulcie Carey said she was inspired to host the event after a hugely successful drag queen brunch she held during the Bristol Pride festival.

She said: "We had the idea for a Disney themed brunch due to how successful our Pride brunch was, and how much people seemed to enjoy the drag queen performers and entertainment at that event.

"The restaurant will be decorated with a Disney theme for the event, the drag queens will be dressed up as Disney characters and will be interacting with people ar the tables."

Tickets for the event cost £35 per person. Each ticket including unlimited alcohol that will be served from 11am-1pm with the event finishing at 2pm. You can book a table online at https://www.princestreetsocial.com/
