Bristol Airport has welcomed a new airline on board this weekend offering flights to a beautiful Mediterranean beach destination. Turkish company Corendon Airlines will be offering a twice-weekly service to the city of Antalya, where the airline is based.
Antalya is the country's fifth most populous city and is considered to be the capital of tourism in Turkey. It's a beach and harbour resort as well as a gateway to Turkey's southern Mediterranean region, known as the Turquoise Coast for its blue waters.
The most popular beaches are Kaputas Beach, Konyaaltı Beach and Lara Beach as well as being home to the beautiful Düden Waterfalls.

Announcing the news on Twitter, Bristol Airport said: "This weekend, we welcomed @Corendon_Air to Bristol Airport. Corendon will be flying a twice weekly service to and from Bristol and Antalya."
Corendon Airlines offers trips to Germany, France, Poland and many more countries. As it stands the airline will only offer this route at Bristol Airport.
It is already a hugely popular destination from Bristol Airport. EasyJet, Jet2 and SunExpress already offer routes to the Turkish city with around 18 flights from Bristol per week at the season's peak in August 2023.
Flights with the airline to Antalya are available from £68.91 for May 2023 (at time of writing) with return flights back to Bristol for £44.50.
Corendon Airlines provides direct flights to 165 airports in 65 countries with its own fleet of Boeing 737-800 and 737-800 Max model aircraft.
