Bristol tourists face paying the second highest increase in Airbnb prices in the country over the summer bank holiday weekend.
Tourists coming to Bristol are being met with a 11 per cent hike in costs, which is the second highest increase in the UK.
Research by money.co.uk has revealed an Airbnb in Bristol before the summer bank holiday weekend would cost £132, but with the summer bank holiday, this rises to £147.

Whilst the three-day summer bank holiday weekend encourages many to embark on a city break, Airbnb prices in the UK’s biggest cities increased by an average of six per cent this weekend.
Meanwhile, Liverpool was the biggest price increase over the summer bank holiday with an increase of 22 per cent, where the average price the previous weekend would cost £119. The price during the bank holiday weekend, however, rises to £145.
Manchester was joint with Bristol with an increase of 11 per cent, Glasgow had a seven per cent increase, and Leeds with four per cent.
Money.co.uk investigates the average nightly price of rentals on Airbnb over the dates and locations where the UK’s biggest events and bank holidays are taking place throughout 2021.
The prices are then compared to the previous week to reveal which events increase Airbnb prices the most.
