Restrictions in Greater Brisbane are on track to ease on Friday after Queensland recorded another day of no cases of community transmission.
Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk confirmed three new cases were all acquired overseas and detected in hotel quarantine, including one woman who returned from South Africa and two flight crew who have already departed Australia.
"We are on track to have those restrictions lifted, we've only got two more days to go so fingers crossed that all will be very good for Friday morning," she said.
All flight crew are tested and go into hotel quarantine when they enter the state, and Chief Health Officer Jeannette Young said they're permitted to leave on outgoing international flights.
"We will be letting the National Incident Room know about those two flight crew and they will let the relevant airline know so they can manage that," she said.
The streak of no community transmission means Greater Brisbane is on track to revert to pre-lockdown measures in which masks are not mandatory, venues are able to operate at increased capacity and dancing is allowed.
Dr Young said she was comfortable with the easing of restrictions and was pleased to see how readily the majority of people took to the mandated wearing of masks when required.
"I would like to see people wearing masks a bit more when they can't socially distance, but it's not going to be mandatory," she said.
