'Bring it on!' - Chelsea, Spurs and Man United fans react as Jurgen Klopp makes Liverpool vow

Jurgen Klopp has signed a new contract at Liverpool.

Ahead of his press conference on Friday afternoon it was announced that the German has put pen to paper on a new contract at Anfield until 2024.

This new deal comes six months after guiding the club Champions League glory having defeated Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 in the final in Madrid thanks to goals from Mohamed Salah and Divock Origi.

There could be more success this season.

Klopp's side currently sit top of the Premier League table with an eight-point advantage over Leicester City in second place after 16 games of the season and have a massive gap over defending champions Manchester City.

And the Reds boss had a message for fans of rivals clubs.

"We have decided to continue what work so far, [has been] not too bad," he said, speaking in a video published by Liverpool on social media to confirm the announcement.

"We agreed a new contract until 2024. That will be good news for some, not such good news for others, sorry, but you can switch the channel off now.

"For the others, here are a few of the reasons. We love it here. It is a wonderful club and we understand most of the people, and we thought it was a good moment to continue this.

"It was not a difficult negotiation, I felt really good in that time. We could keep it quiet, which is exceptional in this time.

"See you, from now on, even more often."
