'Bring him back on loan!' - Eden Hazard treble vs Newcastle sends Chelsea fans down memory lane

He was one of the best Chelsea players of the last decade and the brilliance of Eden Hazard is still living on among the supporters.

The Belgian international spent seven years at the club before completing his move to Real Madrid over the summer.

His transfer fee could rise to £150million and that shows just how valuable he was to the Blues and their supporters.

Adapting to life in Madrid has been difficult for the forward who says that the pressure with the Spanish giants is on another level.

"At Chelsea when we lost, we were disappointed, like the fans, but I never felt it was a disaster, it’s different in Spain," he said, as reported by the Metro .

"I think that here the fans are really fans, football is everything to them and they need players to give everything, in England there aren’t so many fans.

"Of course, people there like football and everyone, be that young people, adults or teenagers, are really interested in football, but they aren’t so fanatical about their teams."

While the Chelsea fans may not be as demanding as those in Madrid, they were certainly fanatical about seeing the Belgian in action for the club.

The Blues posted a throwback video of Hazard scoring a hat-trick against Saturday's opponents Newcastle United, and it's left supporters feeling a little bit nostalgic.

Here's what they had to say on social media.
