"Bring him back" - Nottingham Forest fans react to player update after impressive performances

Nottingham Forest winger Albert Adomah has been tipped to transform his current loan spell at Cardiff City into a permanent move.

The 32-year-old joined the Bluebirds from Forest in the January transfer window for the remainder of the season and has appeared five times so far.

His performances in Cardiff matches so far - and the threat he has brought to the team - have impressed pundits and Bluebirds experts.

Adomah signed for the Reds in the summer shortly after winning promotion with Aston Villa. He was released by the Villans and joined Sabri Lamouchi's side.

However, Adomah found the bench more likely to appear underneath him than the green City Ground field, and sought first-team football.

He's found it now - and with a potential move away on the cards, here's how Forest fans have reacted.

Zak Edlin: Would've kept him, getting on abit but experienced in this league, shifting him out and bringing in a young clueless Diakhaby is the only bit of business I don’t agree with.

Chris Staton: Bewildering why he was sent out on loan bearing in mind what came in to replace him - unless it was to do with wages.

Richard Ottaway: Suspect he was on a decent wedge and with FFP he needs to be a key player rather than a nice to have squad player. If he can be a key player at Cardiff let him, we can't afford to pay his wages next season for decreasing sub appearances.

Stuart Rowe: I think he played well in the limited opportunities he had, certainly a million times better than Diakhaby.

Anthony Huckle: I've always rated him. He used to cause us so many problems.

Craig White: Adomah or Diakhabye it's a tough one?

Tom Barrett: Never given a chance under Lamouchi, a lot like Carvalho.

Peter Bollard: Not suited to this team

Karen Pryce: Bring him back. We need Uncle Albert here.

Simon Lodge: He looked slow and past it in last performances for Forest but when you compare to his replacement, maybe Cardiff is just a better fit for him.
