Several supporters have hit out at Manchester United's performance and interim manager Ralf Rangnick following their slender 1-0 FA Cup third-round triumph over Aston Villa at Old Trafford on Monday evening.
Scott McTominay's eighth minute header was enough to secure United's passage to the fourth-round, setting up a clash with Championship side Middlesbrough, but their performance, again, left a lot to be desired.
Villa, who had two goals chalked off in the second half, dominated most of the contest, with their attacking contingent enjoying no shortage of opportunities to send their travelling contingent absolutely bananas.
However, they were unable to find a way past David de Gea in the United goal, with the Spaniard, once again, delivering the goods between the sticks.
Despite coming out on top and progressing to the fourth-round, United's supporters, during the second half, hit out at the Reds' showing and Rangnick, insisting that they look just as bad as they did in the latter stages of former manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's tenure, with some suggesting that they actually look worse.
Rangnick has only lost one of his first seven games in charge in all competitions, but United's performances have been tough viewing, with them lacking a spark going forward, whilst continuing to look vulnerable in defence.
Below, MEN Sport has taken a close look at what some United supporters have had to say on social media.
As you can see from the messages displayed in the tweets above, United's performance against Villa, despite being enough to see them come out on top and progress to the next round to the competition, has frustrated the supporters, with some of them now calling for Solskjaer to return.
In fairness, Rangnick was always going to need time to correct United's woes. There was never going to be a quick-fix.
However, their performances have been uninspiring and unconvincing to say the least, despite having only lost once under the German so far.
