'Bring Gazzaniga on' - Tottenham fans fume at Hugo Lloris' performance vs RB Leipzig

Tottenham Hotspur are in Champions League round-of-16 action as they take on Bundesliga side RB Leipzig in the second leg of the tie in Germany.

Spurs went into the game trailing by one goal after Timo Werner's winning penalty at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the first leg.

Tottenham were looking to start the game quickly in order to try and overturn that advantage and make it through to the quarter final of the competition.

However, the game didn't start as Jose Mourinho's team would have hoped with Leipzig doubling their advantage with just 10 minutes on the clock.

Marcel Sabitzer's strike from outside of the box proved too hot for Hugo Lloris to handle to make the task that extra bit more difficult for Tottenham.

Things could have gotten a lot worse for Tottenham when Timo Werner thought he had made it 2-0 only to be denied by the linesman's flag.

Jose Mourinho: Bergwijn unlikely to play this season

But the German side wouldn't be denied again when the captain beat Lloris at the near post to make it 3-0 on aggregate.

After both games, Tottenham fans took to social media to point the finger as to who was one of the players responsible for the goals.

The two RB Leipzig goals now mean that Tottenham will need to score three in order to make it through to the next stage.

It also means that the result will be decided after 90 minutes, with no extra time or penalties now being required.

Should the result stay the same, it will be the first time that Tottenham have lost an away leg at this stage of the tournament.
